The new Biggby Coffee location in Reed City is making substantial progress.

According to a recent post, the new location now has a sidewalk and a drive-thru window installed. Store personnel estimate the store will open in mid- to late August.

“We have had lots of inquiries about hiring and we plan to start that process next week,” the store said via Facebook.

The location began construction this past spring on 220th Avenue near U.S. 131 and U.S. 10 in Reed City. Gerber Construction is the lead contractor with the project.

Biggby Coffee also started a development in Houghton Lake this past spring, with other established locations in Big Rapids, Cadillac, Fremont, Howard City, Lakeview, Newaygo and more.
