The city of Big Rapids is asking for input into a plan to thin deer herds.
The Department of Public Safety has released a survey asking for information on how whitetailed deer are affecting the community. Some of the questions are what issues have you had with deer and about traffic crashes with deer.
The city will use the information to determine possible locations for future deer culls and find out if prior culls by the Department of Natural Resources were successful.
A link to the survey can be found on the Big Rapids Department of Public Safety Facebook page.
